1kg makes up to 20kg of bacon.
Easy to use:
Simply rub the cure over your piece of meat and allow to stand in your fridge for 5-10 days (depending on the size of your meat).
After removing from the fridge, soak your meat for an hour or more to remove any excess curing salt.
Then smoke in your smoker or cook it in your oven until you reach an internal temp of 65-68c.
Allow to cool, slice, cook and enjoy!

The flavour of this product is simply the best, the flavour goes through the whole joint of pork.

Ordered and received with no delay my Maple Bacon dry cure and proceded to turn an average pork loin roast into the nicest tastiest bacon I have ever eaten Very happy with how easy it is,just follow amounts on packet rub on wrap and put in fridge for 5 days Then into my masterbuilt smoker I would recommend to anyone who wants bacon that tastes better then any you can buy OHH YEAH I LOVE THIS BACON

I’ve just started to cure a piece pork and so far I must say the whole process seems easy. However living in rural NSW, getting a good cut of loin or belly is difficult as Coles and Woollies have destroyed the independent butcher market.
Back to the product, I would like to see more information in the package as recipes from other users. Other than that top job, cant wait to start the smoking

This is the way bacon is supposed to taste. I have just finished my first batch and enjoyed the best bacon I have ever tasted for breakfast this morning. This product is very easy to use and the result is spectacular.

I cured a pork loin with this, following the clear instructions on the packet. It is amazing. It is the best bacon we have tasted….and I have paid big dollars for award-winning bacon. I bot a belly to cure today. Incredibly happy.

Have been wanting to try making my own bacon for some time now so purchased the Maple Bacon cure, using 4kg of Pork belly I followed the instructions and it came out way better than I expected. I won’t be buying bacon ever again.
I’m smoking my third bacon tomorrow. Best tasting bacon I have had for many many years. So easy to do and with the fun of DIY thrown in. No more cardboard, flavourless ‘bacon’ from the supermarkets. The flavour of a A BLT sandwich has just gone through the roof. The family rave over it.
It was my first attempt at making bacon. I used a pork scotch fillet roast and the bacon came out beautiful. Ate some with breakfast yesterday. I will never buy bacon from Woolies again.
