Who doesn’t love bacon? Make your own bacon with Hi Mountain’s Buckboard Bacon Cure. Each kit of Buckboard Bacon cures 11.5kg of meat, 1kg at a time if you wish. You can also make excellent Canadian Bacon from pork loin.
Try using our Misty Gully liquid smoke to give your bacon a great smokey flavour if you don’t have your own smoker. So much easier and just as effective!

Makes the best tasting bacon you can get. When I gave some to my mates, the word got around now everyone wants me to this bacon for them.
Great product.
Did a couple of boston butts as the directions said and the outcome was fantastic. Can’t keep it up to the family and friends. Will need more soon.
This has made the best bacon on my first try at making bacon I was impressed at the ease and a great flavor I will delinately be using this again
The Aussie/Vietnamese butcher who supplied the female pork bellies for our bacon was a little puzzled about the amount of meat we bought. We returned a a week and a half laster to his shop with samples of our bacon from the Masterbuilt electric smoker. Our vietnamese language is not as good as his english, but there was obviously a misunderstanding.
The head butcher gathered his other butchers together and they solemnly tasted our new batch of bacon. They all gave it the thumbs up and then wanted to place an order so that they could sell it in their shop.
Eventually, it was made clear that we were offering a sample not trying to enlist the butchery as a stockist of the Buckboard Bacon. Now, we believe that this was a fabulous endorsement of the product.
I am extremely happy with the service and product range that Smoked and Cured has.
I recently brought the Buckboard Bacon Cure pack and am totally happy with its results. Before using a dry rub such as this I was a devoted wet cure person, from now on I will be doing dry curing thanks to finding this product.
Tried the smoker and cherry pellets on a piece of pork belly turned out better than I thought for first try got more pork belly curing now with the buckboard bacon cure cant wait to get in smoker to try
Have been using this product for some time and found it to be best so far,it makes great bacon, it also goes a long way if you use it per instructions

I recently had to find a new butcher and guess what the bacon was average so decided to make my own?
How easy is this product, sprinkled it on and sealed it in a vacuum bag for 4 days then smoked/cooked in a hooded barbecue using a remote temperature probe.
I need to improve my smoking skills but the bacon tasted just great!!
The recipe that came with it was not all that helpful for pork belly.
I got a couple of recipes of the internet which were helpful for curing pork belly.

I have used buckboard bacon cure numerous times to make homemade streaky bacon in my kamado cooker. So, simple and well worth the effort.
I will never buy supermarket bacon again.
Made this product real easy to do only problem had to convert to metric beside that all good
